The car that launched the “pony cars”.

Launched by Ford in 1964, the Mustang created a new genre: the “pony car”, compact, sporty and accessible, aimed at an entire generation.

Success was immediate. As a convertible, with the top down, it embodies 1960s America, the America of open roads and the cinema.
