Our story

One passion, sixteen cars.

Vintage Cars Morocco was born of a collector’s love for automobiles that tell the story of their time, and of a simple conviction: a classic car should be driven.

The collector

Behind the collection, an enthusiast.

I have never thought of myself as a collector. I simply love cars with a soul, and cannot bear to see them sleeping under a cover.

What I love is not a car’s value but what it makes you feel: the sound of an engine starting, the slender steering wheel in your hands, the way people look at you on the road.

— The collector

My first car
« A perfectly ordinary little car, noisy and full of faults. I have never forgotten it. »
The one I will never sell
« The one I drive on Sunday mornings, when the roads are empty. It changes with my mood. »
My best memory behind the wheel
« A coast road at sunrise, roof down, with nobody ahead. Nothing extraordinary, and yet. »
What I love about an old car
« It asks for your attention. You don't drive it absent-mindedly: you drive it with pleasure. »
My advice to anyone starting out
« Choose with your heart, then get it on the road. »
The beginnings

It all began with a car.

As so often, it began with a memory: a family car, the smell of leather and warm oil, an engine you recognise from afar. That memory became a curiosity, then a quest.

A first car arrived, then a second, chosen for their character more than their value. Little by little, a collection took shape: great British tourers, elegant German cars, small French and Italian ones, an American legend.

A classic car only makes sense on the road.

Our way of collecting

Three convictions, one collection.

01

Cars that run

Every car is maintained to be driven, not just admired. An engine that runs is an engine that lives.

02

Attention to detail

Mechanics, bodywork, upholstery: we restore with respect for the original, without excess, keeping what gives each car its character.

03

A shared heritage

Weddings, film shoots, photoshoots: opening up the collection means keeping these cars alive and giving others the chance to discover them.

The collection, car by car

Sixteen cars, sixteen reasons.

In chronological order: why each one found its place with us.

The 1950s

The first grandes dames · 4 cars
1955

Citroën Traction Avant

France

The elegance of the great saloons of the 1950s. It is in the collection for its presence, and for the way it slows time down.

« It is never in a hurry, and that is what I like about it. »

My story
1958

MGA coupé

United Kingdom

A British coupé all in curves, chosen for its modest character and for a line that has lost none of its charm.

« An unpretentious little coupé that I immediately wanted to keep. »

My story
1959

Fiat Topolino

Italy

The smallest in the collection, and one of the most endearing. With its hood folded back, it reminds us that the joy of driving needs no power.

« Impossible to look at it without smiling. »

My story
1959

Renault 4CV

France

The little post-war Renault: simple, round, likeable. It stands for the people’s car at its most tender.

« It reminds me of the cars of my childhood. »

My story

A classic car is never truly owned: you look after it so that it can go on telling its story.

The collector

The 1960s

The golden age of the convertible · 8 cars
1965

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

Germany

An Italian suit on a German frame. We love its understated elegance and the story of two countries meeting.

« Italian by design, German by engineering: I like meetings of this kind. »

My story
1966

Ford Mustang

United States

The American legend of the collection. Top down, it brings the energy of open roads and 1960s films.

« With the top down, it’s a different state of mind. »

My story
1966

Mercedes Pagode 230 SL

Germany

Understated, luminous, timeless: the Pagoda is German elegance in its purest form, and one of the cars most requested for weddings.

« I have never seen anyone remain indifferent in front of it. »

My story
1966

MG Midget

United Kingdom

The little bright red roadster that lifts the mood. Light and lively, it takes you travelling with a smile.

« You drive it with a smile, inevitably. »

My story
1967

Citroën DS

France

The car from the future: an avant-garde silhouette that still surprises. It has a place in every story.

« Every time I see it, I feel it has just arrived from tomorrow. »

My story
1969

Triumph TR6

United Kingdom

The British roadster with a strong personality: a six-cylinder, tan leather upholstery and a sound you do not forget.

« You have to hear the six-cylinder once to understand. »

My story
1969

Volkswagen Beetle

Germany

The people’s icon, recognisable among a thousand. Impossible to build a collection without it.

« A collection without a Beetle is not a collection. »

My story
1969

Fiat 500 Nuova

Italy

La dolce vita in miniature. Its canvas roof and petrol blue make it the star of every photograph.

« The most photogenic of the house. »

My story

The sound of an engine starting is the finest music there is.

The collector

The 1970s–80s

The last sports cars, the last icon · 4 cars
1973

Jaguar E-Type V12

United Kingdom

The most beautiful of British sports cars, here in V12 form. It is the car that turns heads wherever it goes.

« When it passes, everyone turns round. I never tire of it. »

My story
1973

Lancia Fulvia Coupé

Italy

The discreet chic of Turin: a thoroughbred, elegant coupé with a careful finish, rediscovered with pleasure on every journey.

« The kind of car you discover a little more on every journey. »

My story
1976

MGB convertible

United Kingdom

The roadster of a whole generation: simple, sincere, easy to love. It simply runs.

« Easy to live with, easy to love. »

My story
1984

Citroën 2CV

France

An umbrella on four wheels, here as a two-tone convertible. The car of freedom and good humour.

« It taught me that a car does not need to be powerful to make you happy. »

My story
A word from the collector

These cars don’t really belong to me: they belong to those who pass them, drive them, photograph them. Each time one of them goes out for a wedding, a film shoot or a simple drive, I feel it is doing what it was made to do.

If you would like them to become part of your story, come and meet them. I look forward to welcoming you.
