Conceived in the 1930s around the ideas of Ferdinand Porsche, the Volkswagen Beetle stayed in production from 1938 to 2003: more than 21 million cars.
Rear-mounted air-cooled engine, rounded silhouette, mechanical simplicity: it won over the whole world and remains one of the most likeable cars ever built.
